LEATHER

All items are made from genuine leather with a thickness of 4–5 oz (1.6–1.8 mm). This leather is specially developed for accessories such as chokers and harnesses and is produced using a combined tanning process. It is soft, flexible, durable, and comfortable for regular wear.

The leather has a smooth finished protective coating with a semi-matte or semi-gloss effect created by a polyurethane layer. It gives the surface a subtle sheen without making it too glossy. The reverse side is machine processed for a cleaner and smoother feel against the skin, with minimal nap. A faint square pattern may be visible on the flesh side as a result of this treatment.

The edges are left unpolished, and in my opinion this is the best solution for this type of material. With wear, the leather becomes softer, natural signs of rubbing may appear, and the surface can self-polish over time. These are normal characteristics of this type of genuine leather. The items can withstand moderate load but are not intended for strong mechanical pressure. Excessive force may cause deformation. These items are intended as accessories for everyday wear and special occasions.

HARDWARE

We use high-quality hardware made from steel, aluminum, and metal alloys with plated finishes, including nickel-plated coating and other color options. The hardware is smooth, durable, comfortable to the touch, does not catch on clothing, and is checked for quality before use. It is well suited for regular wear.

If any hardware element breaks, it will be replaced.

To keep your leather item looking its best and lasting longer, please follow these simple care guidelines:

Cleaning

• Avoid contact with water. If the item gets wet, gently blot it with a paper towel and let it dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use hair dryers, heaters, or any direct heat sources.
• Do not wipe the item with wet wipes, especially those containing alcohol or harsh chemicals — they may damage the leather.

Storage

• Store the item in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight, heating devices, or high humidity.

Precautions

• Avoid contact with oils, perfumes, and cosmetics, as they may stain or alter the leather surface.

Optional care

• If needed, use a gentle leather care product suitable for the specific type of leather.

Natural leather may develop a beautiful patina over time — this is a natural process that highlights the character and uniqueness of each piece.

We create our products with long-term use in mind and offer a repair service for all HUNTER products.

If any part of your product becomes worn or damaged over time, you can send it to our workshop for repair. We will assess its condition and replace the necessary components while preserving the original construction and appearance of the product.

As leather is a natural material, its color and texture may vary slightly from one batch to another. If an exact match to the original material is not possible, we will select the closest available option. When necessary, our craftspeople may replace several related components to maintain symmetry and restore the overall appearance of the product.

Repair Kit

If sending your product to our workshop is inconvenient, you can order a repair kit instead. You will simply need to take the kit together with your product to a local leather repair shop or atelier.

Send us photos of the damaged area, and we will select the appropriate leather components and hardware for the repair.

Each repair kit is prepared individually according to the specific product and the nature of the damage.

Repair Terms

The cost and estimated repair time are determined individually after we assess the photos or inspect the product itself. Before any work begins, we will inform you of the required repairs and their cost.

Natural changes that occur as leather ages and is used — including the development of a patina, slight variations in color, and normal signs of wear — are inherent characteristics of the material and are not considered defects.
